well 3 days till i move into JMU and i got nothing to do right now so i might as well do this.

since i never really gave you an kinna guide TY im just ganna write one now.

find a stock on deviant art

resources > stock images > then w\e

or go to planetrenders.net and find a render there. using a stock or a render as the focal point of the picture. i usually do signatures just kuz i can. you can do a spirt and do smudging but im not very good at smudging so i've stay'ed away from that i might look into that another day any way i digress

paste that into the picture, you've probably pictured a person\animal, i find the face is almost always the main focal point. so what you wanna do is press ctrl J to duplicate the image\layer, with the copy go to filter > blur > Gaussian blur and any where from 1 - 4px. now get the selection tool, set it to circle\ellipse with a feathering of 20px and select the the face and maybe 50% of the render and delete the blurred part there. now fiddle with what you have left of your blurred layer try soft light, overlay w\e and your done.

if you wanna try something else try duplicating the layer again and try going filter > sketch > water paper to give it some scan lines
